Sun Tan City is one of the largest family-owned tanning salon chains in the country with approximately 250 salons in 20 states. The Virginia salons are a franchise of Sun Tan City.

Job Summary

Maintenance techs at Sun Tan City keep our equipment and facilities running in tip top shape to ensure our clients receive a consistent high-quality experience with great results every time they visit, in a well-maintained relaxed and comfortable environment. From repairing & maintaining the tanning and spa equipment to keeping the laundry facilities functioning, our techs are integral to our employee’s and company’s overall success and brand reputation.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Position may require two weeks of out-of-town training. (Expenses paid.)
Repair and maintain UV and Sunless tanning equipment.
Maintain overall appearance of assigned facilities.
Complete monthly parts inventory in company vehicle.
Must be available for On Call shifts some weekends.
Work with Salon staff and others to uphold Sun Tan City policies and requirements.
Complete lamp changes in tanning equipment.
Ability to work at least 2 days per week with the possibility of more.

Experience:

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building materials.
Ability to read schematics is a plus.
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised in a team environment.
Accurate and attentive to detail while having the ability to manage time effectively.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be well organized.
